Review: The Lavaux Wine Bar in New York City (Best Cheese Fondue)

Bild
During my last stay in New York, as a Swiss person, I couldn’t miss a restaurant visit for cheese fondue. But if I’m going to do it, I wanted fondue that’s truly prepared by Swiss chefs. And that’s exactly what I found at The Lavaux, which offers probably the best cheese fondue in New York City. From Switzerland to New York City I had the idea, said it, and found it. The restaurant is located at 630 Hudson Street in New York. At The Lavaux, which is actually a wine bar, they also serve authentic Swiss fondue. A few years ago, I discovered this inn and its restaurant and was surprised by the many good reviews. However, no one in my circle of friends and acquaintances had heard of this place. That piqued my curiosity. After countless visits, a review of this hidden gem was inevitable and more than deserved. Expert Management The Gasthof zum Hirsch in Goppertsweiler has been run by the Frick-Renz family since 1995. While Artur Frick-Renz serves as the head chef, his partner, Ulrike Frick-Renz, handles the...
